First Week at the "Y"

So my first week here at BYU is finished...weird. Haven't seen my family, haven't slept in my own bed, haven't cried too much, and I'm feeling ok.  It seems so strange to be thrown into an entirely new environment of kids that are all my age, are a part of my religion, and are super smart.  Intimidating, right?  Anyway, the week has been a blast. Seriously, it's been great, and I seem to be handling the homework pretty darn well. :) I love my classes. They are so amazing, and I am learning so much!  I think my favorites are my Book of Mormon class and my social dance class.  Super amazing. For Book of Mormon, we have to read 30 minutes a day and journal about what we read.  My testimony has already grown so much just from reading and writing down the things that come to my mind and how I feel. Its incredible! My social dance class is also way fun. We are currently learning the fox trot, so thats interesting, but its way fun, and I surprisingly don't have two left feet....just 1 and 1/2...haha but I'm having a blast, and my dance partners are not half bad ;) SO the gist is that I am having an absolute blast here. Its insane, and although I miss my family, I am discovering that I'm going to be ok.
Rise and Shout, Cougars!
